Office Manager

Overview

Venturity is looking for an Office Manager who desires a role that is challenging and interesting, who is adaptable and has positive energy. Someone who knows how to manage their email inbox, has an ongoing to-do list, and doesn’t mind crawling under a desk to hook up a computer. If you’re the type of person who sees the need for action and takes it and can work on multiple projects while staying true to deadlines and details, then you might be the perfect fit. Our Office Manager is responsible for the daily flow of business-related tasks and activities unique to the office environment. The skillset must include experience in handling a wide range of administrative tasks, working independently, or as part of a team. This person must enjoy the administrative aspects of supporting an office of diverse team members.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors with an exceptional experience
  • Oversee physical office environment and ensure facilities are functional, organized and well supplied
  • Coordinate office activities, such as staff lunches, and on and offsite events for the team
  • Assist with employee travel arrangements and periodically coordinate conference reservations and accommodations for business trips and retreats
  • Assist with staff desk changes including phone and PC set-up
  • Assist with new hire onboarding such as order business cards, desk setups, and first day tours and assistance
  • Work with third party technology support vendor to address issues with office and telephone equipment
  • Manage relationships with vendors
  • Coordinate and manage accommodations for out-of-town business guests
  • Assist with the coordination and set up of internal and visitor events
  • Support executive team by assisting with various projects and requests as they arise
  • Address team member inquiries and requests as needed
