Adam Geiser

Adam has been a part of the Venturity team since October 2020, and currently serves as the company’s VP of Great Accounting. In this role, Adam oversees the execution of the Great Accounting strategy of the company, including ensuring the team is properly equipped and well versed in GAAP concepts and requirements. He also provides ongoing training and operational support to our Controller, Advisory and CXO teams alongside our VP of Client Experience, Rane Lallier.

What I’m Passionate About  

I get energy from supporting our team and working through client accounting matters, particularly when we are bringing more clarity and transparency to their financials. I have a passion for all things accounting but find the greatest joy in teaching and from witnessing the “aha” moments with a client or team member when a previously vague concept becomes clear. I’m in a unique position where I can both provide insight and training to our team but also work directly on technical accounting matters with our clients, allowing me the ability to make an impact both internally and externally.

Where I’ve Been  

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and pursuing my CPA licensure, I returned to college to pursue an MBA to continue to broaden my education. Prior to Venturity, I served as Director of Central Accounting at Aimbridge Hospitality, where I was also given the opportunity to fulfill both client and internal facing roles. Engagements in this role included working through company acquisitions, testing and ensuring industry compliance during an ERP migration, working through development of internal risk matrices, supporting our larger ownership groups and JV’s, as well as managing and mentoring our ongoing accounting teams.

What I Do in My Spare Time  

Outside of Venturity, my world revolves around spending time with my wife Glenda, our three kids, and our beloved dog Luna.  When we aren’t at the soccer fields or traveling for a tournament, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, smoking barbecue or simply working on a project in the garage or around the house.
