Overview
Venturity is seeking a Controller level Project / Implementation Director. This is a GREAT position for someone who has the technical accounting expertise and thrives on client interaction. As a Project / Implementation Director, you will lead a team that is responsible for on-boarding new clients – hosting implementation meetings with clients, creating and managing project plans, managing team capacity and scheduling work flow, and leading/performing complex projects and accounting tasks.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA designation preferred
- Prior experience managing accounting professionals required
- Experience with multi-entity business
- Experience in expanding, fast growing organizations
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus
- Extensive full cycle accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis required
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong technical understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts and data
- Good organizational skills with ability to set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule
- Ability to adapt to multiple accounting systems
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (both internally and with clients)
- Professional approach to work, strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindset
